Czech Champions Qualify for Champions League

Czech team Viktoria Plzen has qualified for the group stage of the Champions League after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 2-1 in the return match of their playoff tie. Plzen lost the first leg of the tie 1-0 but came back strongly in the second leg to secure a 2-1 victory and a 2-2 draw on aggregate.

Viktoria Plzen will now play in the group stage of the Champions League for the first time since 2013. The club was drawn into Group C along side Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, and Inter Milan.
